Will,
Tom Bosse has been sharing your stories of our Aaron Stevens with me. My early thoughts about Aaron was ,he was a good person at heart and I see you also have come to that conclusion. When I went to Harper's Ferry and saw some of Aaron's art, read his letters home and his songs and poetry,I just knew he was not the savage person presented in the history books. You present a wonderful piece of work here and I have so enjoyed reading it. Sometime I should tell you of my research about Aaron's grandfather Moses Stevens. Not written up as well as you have done but non the less facinating for me.Old Moses and G.W. were friends, of that I am sure.
Warm Regards Iva
